Tom Tom Directs Aventinus to Win

ANN ARBOR– With the guidance of savvy veteran Tom Colis’s two goals, Aventinus drove through North Coast 3-0 Wednesday night, despite icy road conditions leading to the game. “We had to make evasive maneuvers to get off I-94 and onto State Street,” noted Ginny Klinesteker, who had two assists.

GM Mark Woods, who attended a ceremony for a community college in the Metropolitan Detroit Area, wherein he received an honorary Associate’s degree, noted that Colis “has the team moving in the right direction.”

Colis, whose voice was friendly, yet without emotion, did not comment on the game itself, but spoke of the future, asking for the team’s “destination.”

Teammates agreed that without him, they would “feel lost.”

Former Aventinus captain Johnny Garmin, speaking from his home in Lanexa, Kansas, had less than glowing reviews. “I coulda taken them there better,” he said. “Nothin’ and no one outperforms a Garmin!”
