Bray Heir Apparent, Foster Kids Hopes Dashed

ANN ARBOR–Advice to doctors and hockey players waiting for time in the spotlight: don’t lose patience. Bray, along with centers Justin Baier and Chris Sutton each scored a goal to beat Mott Foster Kids 3-2 Wednesday evening on Stadium Ice. Winger Becca Koke added two assists in the win.

“I usually check the news once in awhile to see if my name is there,” said an excited Bray.

“He absolutely deserves it,” said GM Mark Woods. “Everyone knows that getting mentioned on the Ashley’s News Network is a stepping stone to bigger and better things. A new king is crowned!”

In fact, Bray’s agent has already been in touch with several companies for sponsorship, including Village Ford of Dearborn, MI, Town & Country Plumbing of Ann Arbor, and the Checkers Drive-in fast food chain in Redford. “Sky’s the limit,” said agent Danny Zuko.

“I don’t want to jinx it,” added Zuko, “but if Scott scores a few more times, we might be looking at the big time: Mount Pleasant Animal Hospital.”

Unconfirmed sources noted that such an honor is a great way to “get some tail.”

Curiously, Ashley’s Pub has not been in contact with Bray or any other team members.
