Holiday Hangover for Ruination

The Winter 2013 season began with with losses for Ruination Saturday night. Short staffed and playing on bigger ice, Ruination fell 1-6 to much-improved Mott team sporting new black and pink jerseys.

“A good friend of ours has breast cancer,” explained forward Richard Ohye, who moonlights as the head of pediatric heart surgery at Mott Children’s Hospital.

Forward John Vella scored Ruination’s only goal early in the third period to make it 3-1, but a visibly tired Ruination team could not mount a comeback.
