Good Bad Ugly Tie with Leafs

ANDALUCIA– Tom “Blondie” Colis, sometimes known as the Man with No Name Other Than Tomwas quick on the draw, good for the assist, and kept the Leafs in line with his soft-spoken brand of cowboy justice as Aventinus came back to wrangle up an ugly 3-3 tie Sunday night.

Colis kept spirits high with a shot to start the 2nd period after the team fell behind by 2 after one period. Again falling behind by two, Ginny Klinesteker brought the team back with a goal mid way through the third period with a nice redirect from Jeff Meden.

“I just stuck my stick out,” said Klinesteker.

That’s what he said,” stated a mature GM Mark Woods.

“It was a nice tip,” he added.

“That’s what she said,” stated an equally mature Klinesteker.

While the post-game featured high comedy, there was plenty of low drama during the game. Following a bad chop to the goaltender Ryan Bidwell’s glove hand from Leaf Scott Kulhanek, complaints from the team fell on ref ears. Anger quickly turned to Kulhanek. “What?” he exclaimed. “I didn’t touch him!”

“I’m going to ‘not touch’ your goalie,” said Colis calmly, quietly, with an ominous air.

Though he did, in fact, not touch the goalie, the threat was obviously bad enough to keep the Leafs in line, allowing Daryl Coleman to make the tough-angled shot to tie the game with just minutes left.

Lost in the celebration, Colis was able to quietly slip out into the Spanish countyside, a fistful of dollars in hand.
