ANN ARBOR– One of the many complaints made to developer Dong Nguyen in his latest game ‘Hoppy Bird’ includes the extreme difficulty getting the bird past the pipes. “We only managed to do it three times the other day,” noted GM Mark Woods, resulting in a 3-4 loss to Cubs AC Saturday night.

The game has been an underground hit among “beer leaguers” for years, with varying levels of difficulty guiding the object– sometimes called a “puck” or a “biscuit” through a series of pipes. This so-called “goal” has been the object to this very simple game for quite sometime. However, recent complaints to Nguyen’s game spotlight difficulty getting “the [bleeping] bird through the pipes.”

In fact, only Andrew Thompson and Keith Kotimko (2) managed the feat. Soucres noted that Kotimko had help from teammates (Chris Sutton, Shawn Lopez, and Michael Leighton).

Some players have expressed relief that the game was taken down from Google’s Play Store yesterday, noting that they would “much rather play Dumb Ways to Die, developed by the makers of the Candy Crush Saga.”
