NARNIA– Hopslam’s 5-1 victory over Sasquatch Saturday marked the end of The Long Winter that had lasted for the past 100 years, roughly marked by the reign of Jadis, also known as the White Witch, in Narnia and much of Southeastern Michigan. “This is Aslan’s doing,” declared a dwarf employed by Jadis.
Goals from each of Pevensie children (Scotty, Luke, Andrew, Don, and Bobby) helped to restore Spring throughout the land.
“It was a tough battle,” said GM Mark Woods. “But now order is restored, and the warm weather will return to all regions of Narnia!”
“Except for the U.P. and northern parts of Canada,” added Woods.
The team enjoyed the warm weather by washing their cars only to watch it get dirty within minutes of driving through melting snow mixed with salt on the streets. Several players noted that the Stone Table had broken, most likely due to changing temperatures, also explaining the numerous potholes.
Passing an old familiar lamp post, the children (now fully grown) drove further along until, incredibly, they ended up tumbling out of an old equipment locker in an old skating rink just in time for their junior mites game. Confused and a bit dazed, the children noted that their time in Narnia skating against Sasquatch started to feel more and more like a dream.
