ANN ARBOR– Ashley’s Hopslam defeated Spider Man’s amazing friend Ice Man 6-4, Tuesday night. Andrew Thompson and Bob Brock each had two goals, while Chris Sutton and Al Juback each added a goal in the win. “We needed all eleven guys to win,” said a humble Juback.

Indeed, Ice Man is a formidable opponent, noted for his ability to travel quickly on ice paths produced from his hands. “It’s kind of like two water hoses producing iced water instead of liquid,” mused defenseman Mark Woods, who did not play. “But, as such, what actually propelled him across the ice? That was never clear.”
“Firestar was pretty hot,” added Woods.
Ice Man– Bobby Drake– was unavailable for comment, though sources say he had to rush home to Aunt May’s in order to study for a final at Empire State University, where he and housemates Angelica Jones (Firestar) and Peter Parker (Spider Man) attend. Drake will face an even greater challenge next Tuesday when he faces the Yaks in the playoffs.
