Ashley’s Ruination poured in 3 goals in the first period Saturday night en route to beating Beer Belly Brewing 8-2. Defenseman Steve Gorham opened the scoring late in the first period, followed quickly by Steve Pouliot and John Vella, who each scored two goals. Center Josh Pohlman added a goal and 4 assists in the win.
Forward Devin Collingridge has been noticeably absent the past two games due in large part to the fact that he has the cooler with the beer.
The Ruination begin their title defense Tuesday night at 945pm.
