PINE KNOB–DTE Energy Center will host alternative rock band Kings of Leon Friday night, preventing staff writer Mark Woods from writing hilarious articles regarding America’s favorite beer league teams, according to Mark Woods. “Yeah, I have to head out to this concert, otherwise I’d be writing up something funny.”

“I mean it,” added Woods.
Instead, Woods simply reported that Aventinus lost to Cubs AC 1-2 in what players deemed a “close” game throughout.
“Uh, I don’t have time to interview anyone about it,” noted Woods, who has to dash off to listen to the band play the one song he knows– “Use Somebody.”
Justin Baier apparently scored the lone goal for the team, while Connor Lang had the assist. “I wish I could insert some wry comment using some fake name or else a misconstrued quote from a teammate,” lamented Woods.
Players have openly wondered why the article wasn’t written earlier, with some noting Woods had “all Thursday” to write something funny.
“I’ll let you know if the concert was good,” he noted simply.
