ANN ARBOR– Defenseman Daryl Coleman had a little trouble putting on his new form-fitting hockey pants in Sunday night’s 1-8 loss to the Ice-o-topes 2. Explaining that they were an early Christmas gift, he noted that they were a snug fit.
“They’re a little tight,” he said, stating that the strapped was already set.
However, it was revealed that the pants are part of a new line of Jordache hockey gear. The company that was once known for its form-fitting jeans introduced the new line of hockey equipment, including the snug pants worn by Coleman. While a bit unsure if the pants were a bit too fashionable, Coleman declined to wear his new pair of leg warmer hockey socks, made of the finest hand-knit wool.
Coleman did note that he hoped for his birthday to receive a new Members-Only jersey, preferably in a light purple.
Scott Bray scored the lone goal, assisted by Tom Colis and Justin Baier.
