Having been stranded on the island for several hours, Woods managed to survive by eating local seafood and vegetables and cans of Coca Cola. “Here on the island, it’s all about survival,” noted Woods with aplomb. “I’m just worried about my team.”
Amid the darkness and din of the television blaring episodes of Life Below Zero, a message came that simply read “4-3 win OT,” announcing that Ashley’s Hopslam defeated Tope Solo Thursday night to earn its second straight championship.
Said, Woods: “I still haven’t gotten all the details, but apparently they were down 0-3 before scoring 4 unanswered goals, including the overtime goal.”
Woods promised to get the full story once he is able to build a MacBook Air and create a wi-fi connection to get the details of the game, most likely from ESPN 8, the Ocho. In the meantime, he congratulated the team on a great win.
