WT Killer Bees Missing F in Name

ANN ARBOR– Following the 2-3 loss to the WT Killer Bees, Aventinus found themselves exasperated by WT Killer Bees, as Connor Gilligan easily sailed past everyone on route to scoring the game-winning goal. “Wednesday, Thursday, Friday!” exclaimed several players, abbreviating the phrase to an acronym later.

Gilligan reportedly caused match-up problems, taking away Aventinus’s best scoring options defensively. “He obviously would take the best player on the ice and guard him exclusively,” noted GM Mark Woods.

“He was on an island out there,” he added, referring to the WT Killer Bees’ strategy to isolate Gilligan with Aventinus’s best scoring threat.

Despite that, Jon Hwang and Dave Winn each managed to score, keeping the game close throughout. Howeer, the WT team proved to be too much. To celebrate, the WT team promised to head back to the trailer park, change their sleeveless t-shirts, and “git that there engine off the tree and back into the Camaro.”

As for Aventinus, they were simply left to mull it over.
