AVENTINUS– The 0-2 loss to the Ice-o-topes D2 left a bitter taste in the mouth of defenseman Mark Woods until he discovered that the origin of that taste was actually that of Brussel sprouts. He was also surprised to discover that the actual name is “Brussels sprout.”

RUINATION– Ashley’s Ruination bounced back with a 5-4 win over the Yaks Tuesday night, despite what many are calling a “rugby match” rather than a hockey game. Players complained that referee D.J. Olsewski had become so verbally abusive that several players began to question whether or not the referee was in fact, the hockey father of one or more of the Ashley’s players.

AVENTINUS– The struggles continue as Aventinus lost to the Yaks 2 team 2-6 Wednesday night. Gary Witt returned to score two goals. Nick Lamb apologized for his outburst during the game, citing that his evil Doppelganger, Nick Lion had actually tied him up before the game. Lamb noted that Lion can “sometimes I get way too competitive.”
