Holiday Radio Station Takes Lead

DETROIT– Local radio station WNIC 100.3 FM announced Tuesday that it is actually playing Christmas music for the 2017 holiday season, deciding to get a 13-month jump ahead of any rival stations. “We’ll be playing It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year pretty much non-stop from now until December 26 of next year,” said station manager Krintina Kringlehammer.

Woofs the Dog said "Rill Me" upon hearing the news of 14 months of non-stop holiday hits, which translates to "thrill me" in Scoobynese.

“Of next year!” she added.

Touting their “100% Christmas music” for the holiday season, Kringlehammer noted that the figure included all of next year, noting that holiday music “puts people in a good mood.”

“Besides,” she added, “when else would you ever listen to Burl Ives or Nat King Cole? On a jazz station? Nobody listens to jazz.”

The news comes at just the right time, as Ashley’s Ruination and Ashley’s Hopslam look to rebound after tough losses Tuesday.
